Introducing rREST®
The Rapid Reprogramming of Emotional Stress Technique.
A new way to think about it.
To explain what rREST is, first imagine your brain can operate at 3 levels:
Brain 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0.
Brain 1.0 is the primal survivalist – protective, aggressive, and narrow-minded in its tactics. Ruled by the most ancient part of our brain, the amygdala, it is often referred to as the lizard brain. This operating system is directly linked to your body’s physiology, and can get triggered any time you perceive physical threats in your environment. During childhood, Brain 1.0 learns to protect you from threats your survival, but those learned responses become maladaptive as adults in the context of modern society.
When triggered, the malware of Brain 1.0 provokes feelings of unchecked stress, anxiety, rage, frustration, anger, or fear and engages your base instincts and survival behavior. Despite being a fully developed adult, you lose control of higher thinking functions that allow logical thoughts and actions. While useful in extreme situations, Brain 1.0 is a destructive and sabotaging force when left to its own devices.
Brain 2.0 is the driven achiever – focused, ambitious, and self-assured. More evolved than the lizard brain, it is goal-oriented and can often help us create results and a sense of success, but it is triggered when you perceive more nuanced psychological threats in your environment. The malware of Brain 2.0 is learned as children start to grow independence from their parents and begin building a social identity.
When triggered, this malware often manifests as feelings of inadequacy, desperation, righteousness, failure or not being enough, which can lead to behaviors such as manipulation, perfectionism, or even avoidance in pursuit of your goals. This slightly more advanced system is the voice in your head that needs to make more money, have more stuff, gain more influence, and win at all costs. While it may bring short-term achievements, Brain 2.0 eventually leads to burnout.
Brain 3.0 is the wise, integrated sage – rational, clear-minded, and empathetic. This brain is a fully functional integration of all three operating systems. It uses the information from Brain 1.0 and 2.0 without being compelled by their accompanying negative thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. Brain 3.0 is the last to develop as we enter into young adulthood, but it is what makes humans unique from other natural beings.
Focused on thriving, rather than just surviving, Brain 3.0 can look beyond our primal fears and short-term motivations into the bigger picture. It allows for logical thinking, executive function, empathy, contribution, and social connection beyond a quid pro quo. This brain can tap into your genuine desires that bring sustainable happiness and general ease with the flow of life, no matter the context. It is perceptive, stable, and capable of balancing logic with desire.
It’s easier said than done.
Most people can’t engage Brain 3.0 for 2 reasons:
Reason #1:
An excess of malware from Brain 1.0 and 2.0 (i.e., stress) that is draining our mental energy.
↓
It’s hard to think of anything else because we don’t have the energy.
REASON #2:
A lack of the mental strength required to activate Brain 3.0, similar to physical weakness.
↓
We stick with the way we know how to think, even if it’s sabotaging us.
rREST is your software expert that can debug the sabotaging malware of Brains 1.0 and 2.0 and strengthen Brain 3.0.
Founded in the neuroscience of emotion and memory, rREST is a step-by-step technique that optimizes your mental operating system, so you can access Brain 3.0 with minimal effort and face your emotions in a way that produces tangible results.

FOUNDATIONAL VALUES
Learning, Innovation, Creativity
We are driven both by scientific discovery and current human needs. Both are unpredictable and constantly changing. We strive to understand how we can use the latest scientific findings to meet the needs of society, to help individuals feel more personal power, as they navigate and create a life of purpose.
Empathy for Humanity
We honor the past but are not bound by it. We understand that reactive behaviors are rooted in childhood trauma and we have compassion for the automatic responses people are stuck with if they do not address those traumas. We help people change their past so that they can change their future. It isn’t about what’s wrong with you, it’s about what happened to you and your ability to change it.
Honor the Client Experience
We focus on positive outcomes for all. We deliver access to opportunities for people to change their past and explore various paths to their own solutions. Clients can expect a safe and supportive space to be seen and heard.
Excellence
We strive for excellence and not perfection. Pursuing excellence gives both us and our clients the courage to explore, try new things, and pivot while constantly making improvements.
Expanding Human Potential
We believe that people are doing the best they can. Nevertheless, we believe when they remove the obstacles of their past, they can have access to their true potential with ease. The most exciting part of our work is it allows more and more people to break barriers beyond what is now considered possible.
